Distribution | RAB (1968) state that this plant has been attributed to NC, but no specimens had been seen. There is a collection from Haywood County at herbarium WCUH, but without data or image. This specimen needs to be vetted. A second specimen was a Hyams collection from "Iredell County", but cannot be attributed to NC with confidence since Hyams gathered plants widely for a pharmaceutical company.
