Identification | Weakley's key (2020) uses cone size to distinguish native from alien species. FNA does not treat A. alba nor A. firma in its key. Weakley's key states that leaves of juvenile plants of A. alba have blunt-rounded or retuse apex (vs. spinose-bifid in A. firma). | |
