DistributionCollected once in 1966 by Radford in Orange County at Mason Farm.

Native of northern China.
AbundanceVery rare and possibly not still extant.
Habitat"Alluvial woods."
PhenologyFlowers May-Aug; fruits June-Oct.
IdentificationThe leaves are a sure ID: deeply divided into 5 palmate lobes (or leaflets), each lobe variously toothed and +- lobed, and taper-pointed. As in other Ampelopsis, fruits are small and rather hard.
