Identification | A yellow-flowered composite reminiscent of a cat's-ear (Hypochaeris), dandelion (Taraxacum), or hawkweed (Hieracium). It grows to about 1.5 feet tall and has mostly basal, lobed leaves. The involucre (below the flowers) is oddly ovate or egg-shaped; the flowers are yellow, as in most members of the above genera. | |
