DistributionThis often planted exotic is reported in Weakley (2022) as escaped in the Coastal Plain. Though there are no SERNEC specimens, there are numerous photos in iNaturalist. However, most or all of them are presumably garden plants and are not germane here. Thus, the editors are not mapping any records now, though understanding that a few plants have likely escaped from cultivation somewhere in the state.
