General Description This habitat is defined by the presence of Pond Pine, which occupies peatland habitats in the Coastal Plain. In addition to Pond Pine, determining species include herbivores that appear to be specialists on that species or that at least have the majority of their occurrences in Coastal Plain peatlands.
