Sciurus nigerEastern Fox Squirrel2018-12-20Evan Wunder1Was driving home from Monroe around 4 pm and saw a larger black squirrel cross the road in front of my truck. It ran across and made it. Determined it was a Fox Squirrel based on size and character. I have seen them several times before outside the county. - Crossed road on Lancaster highway that runs from Monroe NC to Lancaster SC. Seen in-between the intersections of Griffin Rd. and Long Hope Rd. 05_Sight
