Lontra canadensisNorth American River Otter2017-06-03Jean Kaufman5I heard them chirping first at 6:20pm as I was sitting on our screened porch overlooking Taylor Creek. There were five very energetic otters scurrying from rock to rock and playing in the water. I was able to see them with binoculars. They were about 30 yards from me. - Taylor Creek, located in the Three Creeks Development in Lake Lure, NC05_Sight
