Habitats and Life History

Habitats: We have several records from river shorelines, with others from upland fields or residential areas

Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on Buckwheat, Dock, and Knotweed, all members of the Polygonaceae (Wagner, 2005)

State Protection: Has no legal protection, although permits are required to collect it on state parks and other public lands.
