Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Wagner et al. (2011) note that this species is locally common particularly on acidic soils. Our records come mainly from cove forests and high elevation hardwood forests. Piedmont records come from a high monadnock.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on woody plants, including Alder, Birch, Poplar, and Willow, with other species likely (Wagner et al., 2011) - View
