Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Most of our records come from open areas or residential developments
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on a number of different Compositae, including Ragweed and Beggar's Ticks, primarily, and also Goldenrod (Robinson et al., 2008). Records additonally exist for Polygonum, Amaranthus, Chenopodium, and Typha.
