Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Barrens, woodlands, and forests (Wagner, 2005). Our records span the range of hardwood forests in North Carolina, from maritime forests to northern hardwoods.
Larval Host Plants: Larvae feed on members of the Fagaceae, including Beech, Chestnut, and Oaks but also reported on birch (Wagner 2005)
