Abundance: Rare. This species makes up 0.12% of aquatic specimens collected in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Bartels' smokies inventory.
Diet: Omnivorous or Carnivorous.
Reproduction: Smooth eggs deposited in exuvium.
