Key Characters: Lack of connections between granules on dorsal side, lobes at E, spines at pseudosegmental plate. Further description is needed including DNA analysis.

Habitats: Moss and lichens.
Abundance: Rare, making up 0.15% of all terrestrial specimens collected in Bartels' GSMNP inventory.
Diet: Herbivore.
Reproduction: Smooth eggs deposited in exuvium.
