Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Habitat information on this species appears to be unavailable. Given its preference for visiting Ceanothus and a nesting preference for bare, open ground, the habitats used by this species are probably open woodlands composed of upland species of hardwoods and pines.
Larval Host Plants: This species is reportedly oligolectic on Ceanothus americanus (Fowler and Droege, 2020). Mitchell (1960) lists both Ceanothus and Rubus as flowers visited by this species.
