Distribution in North Carolina
Distribution: Primarily a northern species, found from Minnesota to New England, occurring further south west of the Appalachians but with a few records as far south as South Carolina and Georgia. Recorded in North Carolina only in the Mountains.

Habitats: Recorded at relatively low elevations along the Blue Ridge Escarpment in North Carolina
Larval Host Plants: Observed on Viburnum by Mitchell (1960).

Comments: This species has apparently not been recorded in North Carolina since 1950. However, it has been recorded much farther to the south and does not appear to have any habitat restrictions. It may be simply undercollected and its actual status in North Carolina needs to be determined.
