Comments: Brimley (1938) listed this species as occurring in North Carolina, but this is primarily a northern species, which Mitchell (1962) describes as ranging from Minnesota to New England and south to West Virginia. This agrees with the map shown on Discover Life (acc. 2020-02-14) but it shows one disjunct record for North Carolina, which is given with no accompanying information.
