Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Potentilla canadensis is a widespread, weedy species, as are our other two native species in this genus, P. simplex and P. norvegica; a number of other species are introduced.
Larval Host Plants: Oligolectic, specialized on Potentilla species (Folwer and Droege, 2020). Also on Fragaria (Carril and Wilson, 2021).
