Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Larval Host Plants: Larvae are polyphagous, feeding on many herbaceous species in the families Chenopodiaceae, Convolvulaceae, and others (Robinson et al., 2010). Among the reported hosts are orach (Atriplex), Lamb's-quarters (Chenopodium album), bindweed (Convolvulus), joe-pye-weed (Eutrochium), and morning-glory (Ipomoea) (Schaffner, 1959; Matthews et al., 1990; Heppner, 2007).
