Description: A very small and variably colored species, ranging from light to dark. The clypeus is usually quite dark with three lateral pairs of light spots. The elytra varies from almost entirely buff to the outer third almost black. There are two white lunate apical spots on each elytra. This species is usually brachypterous, but adults can be macropterous. Adult males are very small, at 1.6 mm long; females are 2.1 mm. (Beamer, 1950)
