Extremely similar to B. balli, differing mainly in the male genitalia. Balli is also supposed to be slightly smaller than B. nosuta. (

Distribution:
Primarily western United States, possibly as far south as Honduras. There are records from Georgia and North Carolina, but Bartlett suggests that these eastern records may be incorrect and instead represent B. balli.
