Description: Beamer notes that this species is whitish to dark brown in color; some specimens are almost dark brown overall, while others are very pale. Males tend to have the apical half of the wings black, with this color extending onto the side of the abdomen. Females are brownish overall. The vertex is more than twice as long as the apical width, projecting about a third of its length in front of the eyes. The tip of the antennae are dark. Brachypterous males are 3 mm long while females are around 3.12 mm. (Beamer, 1955)
