Description: Greenish-yellow overall with black markings on the vertex. The forewings are strongly streaked with fuscous or brownish coloration in the apical cells and between the yellowish venation. The vertex is characteristically not longer in the middle than besides the eyes, resulting in a very rounded head. The female pregnital sternite has a rounded invagination on the posterior margin, which is embrowned along the edge. Adults are 5.0-6.0 mm long. (Beirne, 1956)
