Description: A brownish species with the crown ivory to light fulvous; wedge and arcuate markings on the disc are often indicated. The pronotum is brown to black except for a yellow to fulvous area on each lateral margin, with slender median vitta and dots across the pronotum. The scutellum has the basal half dark brown to black and the apical half yellow to fulvous. The face is entirely yellow to fulvous and lacks irrorations. The forewings are translucent pale fulvous to dark brown, with the veins brown on the apex and costal area; there are pale areoles along the apical crossveins. The crown is about one and one-third times as long as the width between the eyes, with the anterior margin straight to slightly convex on either side of a bluntly pointed apex. The female pregenital sternite has the posterior margin rounded to a small median lobe. Adult males are 4.8 mm long, females are 5.3 mm. (Hepner 1947, DeLong 1948)
