Description: A pale yellow species tinged with green, with the forewing yellowish subyaline. The eyes are yellowish green or yellowish brown. The crown is roundly produced, with the median length almost twice as long as the length next to the eye. The male subgenital plates are as long as the pygofer, triangular with the lateral margin slightly convex and the apex acute. The female pregenital sternite has the posterior margin with a deep V-shaped excavation extending almost to the anterior margin; the lateral angles are roundly produced and bluntly angled. Adult males are 5.0-5.7 mm long, females are 5.7-6.4 mm. (Cwikla 1988)

Distribution in North Carolina

Abundance: Recorded recently from a single county in the Sandhills, likely under collected and present elsewhere, at least in the Coastal Plain.
