Description: Adults are orange yellow (though typically a darker orange than other members of the genus) with six black dashes above the margin of the vertex and an interrupted line beneath. The posterior margin of the vertex, three stripes on the pronotum, two spots on the scutellum and numerous oval spots on the wings are white.

Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Has been found in open woodlands, near mixed hardwood forest, grassy areas.
Plant Associates:
Behavior: Can be attracted at night with a light.
Comment: The various species within this genus are extremely similar to one another color and pattern wise. In order to identify to species level, images of the underside showing the pregenital sternite or subgenital plates are necessary. Otherwise, dissection is needed. This page will serve as an umbrella for all individuals that cannot be identified to species level.
