The female pregenital sternite is shallowly, roundedly excavated on either side of a broad, rounded median tooth; the central half of the segment is embrowned. The male subgenital plates are short and broad, gradually narrowing to blunt apices. Adults are around 4 mm long. (DeLong & Mohr 1937)
