The reddish-orange marks can also have some yellow coloration, as can the Y, V, or M-shaped mark on the pronotum. The scutellum has yellowish-orange lateral triangles, and the base is orange. Habitats: Plant Associates: Quercus alba (3I )Behavior: Comment: Most Eratoneura species have very similar colorations, consisting of orange to red wing and body markings that contrasts with a yellowish-white base color. Patterns can vary within species, and therefore assigning an ID based off of visual characteristics alone for many species is essentially a guessing game.
