description A brownish species that can be highly variable in coloration among individuals. The head and thorax range from pale yellowish green to dark tawny, and vary from unmarked to heavily marked with various shades of brown. The frons has highly variable markings, ranging from: lemon or pale orange upper and lower transverse bands, a pair of dark spots at the upper margin with a pale band at the lower margin, a dark upper transverse band and a faint/weak lower band, a single dark upper transverse band, or a dark brown to black transverse band at the upper and lower margins. The wings are typically hyaline with veins and stigma uncolored to brownish, though some specimens may show a distinct dark streak extending down the wings, enlargening near the apices. Adult males are 4.4-5.6 mm long, females are 4.9-5.9 mm. (Kramer, 1979)
