description A yellowish to light brown species with a small brown spot [typically] near the middle of the apical margin of the forewings. Brachypterous males are around 2.3 mm long while females are 2.6 mm; macropterous males are 3.1 mm while females are 3.5 mm. (DuBose 1960)

abundance Recorded from a couple counties in the Piedmont.
