A very dark brown, nearly black species with an immaculate frons. The vertex is dark brown with paler carinae (ridges), and the first antennal segment is a dark brown while the second is paler. The wings are dark brown, as is the abdomen. Adult brachypterous males are 2.14-2.33 mm long, while females are 2.48-2.79 mm. (Bartlett & Deitz, 2000) |
