comments This species could be confused with a few other Erythridula, especially E. abolla. Both species have largely reddish wings (though in E. abolla the reds are darker and less vibrant/bright than E. crevecoeuri) with pale, contrasting wing tips. However, the vertex of crevecoeuri is mostly yellow, whereas in abolla the vertex is reddish-brown.
