synonym
description Females are large and long, with a light to dark brown pronotum with a narrow yellow lateral border. Males are smaller with a darker pronotum, fuscous to black, with a narrow yellow lateral border and yellow transverse band near the rear of the pronotum. There is a slight curve to the pronotum in both sexes, and the forewings are smoky brown with brown tips. The head is yellow spotted with brown and is not pubescent; the eyes are brown and prominent, but the ocelli are not prominent. The undersurface of the head and thorax are brown, and the abdomen is yellowish with dark brown sides; the legs are yellowish-ferruginous. Adults are around 7.5 mm long. (Kopp)
