description A dark brown species, with the crown white with a think dark brown apically interrupted anterior marginal line. The eyes are brown, and the dorsal half of the face is dark brown while medially it is white and the ventral margin is bordered with light brown. The posterior part of the pronotum is dark brown, speckled with white and white a white posterior border; the anterior part is light brown and white. The anterior half of the scutellum is light brown while the posterior half is white with a black dot in each lateral margin. The forewings are dark brown, with white translucent spots. The legs are at least partially dark brown. The abdominal terga are dorsally dark brown, ventrally and laterally with some white patterning, and the sterna are dark brown. The female seventh sternum is white, with the posterior margin dark brown and the pygofer dark brown, being white apically. Males have subgenital plates that are pointed apically with large lateral setae. The female pregenital sternite is produced posteriorly and notched medially. Adult males are 5.1 mm long, while females are 5.2-5.7 mm. (Barnett 1976).
