synonym
description A species that ranges from reddish with red wings and pronotum contrasting with a yellowish vertex, to largely uniform yellow overall. The underside of the body is entirely pale. Adults are 2.6-3 mm long. (Dmitriev & Dietrich, 2007)

distribution Central and southeastern United States, mostly around Florida but as for north as southern Illinois and as far west as Arkansas (3I)
abundance Rare, a single record from the Coastal Plain.
