| description |
A dark, blackish species with an underlying yellow color. The pronotum is bicolored, with a pale yellowish-green transverse band on the anterior half and the remaining posterior portion black. The vertex is rounded and has a black transverse band between the eyes. The body and forewings are heavily marked with dark brown to blackish. The wing veins are a bold, contrasting pale yellowish color. The female pregenital sternite has a broadly concave posterior margin, and the sternite itself is darkened. Adults are 5.5-6.0 mm long. (Beirne, 1956)
