Distribution | Scattered across the state, but most often in the Mountains. The Dare County collections are from Wanchese on Roanoke Island and at Kitty Hawk on the Outer Banks. The Anson record is a photo on iNat website by Becky Dill.

Identification | Wild or Cultivated Leek is robust, mostly 2-4 feet tall from a large bulb. The leaves are rather flat and broad. The inflorescence is a large round umbel 2-3 inches across of lavender to light purple flowers. | |
