Distribution | Coastal Plain and Sandhills, disjunct to the upper Piedmont of Rutherford County. Specimens from Mecklenburg and Surry counties are of cultivated plants. Specimens from Forsyth County need an ID check.

Identification | This species resembles Wild Leek (A. ampeloprasum), but the leaves are rounded in cross-section (vs. flat or rather channeled in that species) and are hollow. The inflorescence is a bit smaller and usually has white flowers (as opposed to lavender or light purple). | |
