Identification | This rarely seen species is similar to the much more widespread D. stramonium, but its tubular white flowers are longer (greater than 4 inches long vs. mostly less than 4 inches long in that species). | |
Taxonomic Comments | Also spelled as inoxia. Synonyms include D. meteloides, D. metel, and D. wrightii. Weakley (2018) suggests that it may not be taxonomically distinct from D. wrightii, and the editors concur.
