Identification | Soybean is a very familiar crop grown in large acreage in NC. It is an upright plant 12-18 inches tall. The leaves are divided into 3 ovate leaflets. The flowers are inconspicuous, 3-8 in axils of leafstalks. Fruits droop, tan to dusky color, in narrow pods of often 3 segments. | |
