Identification | This species is cultivated for its rosy, magenta, or white flowers and especially for the large, broadly elliptical, papery pods that are flattened such that the seeds can be easily seen. The flowers look quite a bit like those of Dame's Rocket (Hesperis matrionalis), but the fruits are very distinctive. | |
