| Identification | Sorghum is a popular agricultural crop in NC. The plants grow less than 4 feet tall (reportedly 4 times that in FNA), with broad leaves and a thick, ellipsoid inflorescence. From a distance the yellowish or straw-colored spikelets can easily be seen. | |
