Habitat | Roadsides, road banks, margin of woods, thickets, creekside. | |
Phenology | Flowering March-April (-May). | |
Identification | Bridal-wreath Spiraea sends up one to several erect to leaning stems which are generally covered with small white flowers and very showy, early in spring, without leaves "getting in the way". The leaves arrive later, elliptical to ovate, 1-4 cm long. | |
