| Identification | Soapwort is a perennial that often forms showy-flowered small patches or colonies. The stems are leafy and grow to 1-2.5 feet tall. The inflorescence is terminal, branched but usually dense, the large flowers pale pink to rarely white. The 5 petals are swept backwards somewhat at an angle and are slightly notched. | |
