| Identification | Eurasian Water-milfoil's leaves often look as if their ends had been cut off square with scissors. Leaves are in distinct whorls of 4, grayish green color, and with 24+ segments. Floral bracts are tiny and generally hidden by flowers and fruits. | |
| Taxonomic Comments | Some specimens were originally determined as M. exalbescens, which has not been proven to occur in NC.
