DistributionCredited to NC by Gleason (1952), RAB (1968), BONAP, and Weakley (2018). However, 3 of the 4 specimens at SERNEC are from cultivated plants and the 4th does not specify state or county, but merely "Bugger Swamp Ha!" in 1962 (herbarium HTTU). There is a Booger Swamp in Yadkin County, but the website editors prefer to wait for additional confirmation before mapping this record. For now, our map must remain blank. Weakley's map shows it in the NC Mountains only.
