AbundanceCommon and widespread nearly everywhere, slightly less so in the Mountains.
HabitatRoadsides, urban and suburban weed, fields, clearings, farms, yards, waste ground, etc.
PhenologyFlowering and fruiting May-October.
IdentificationAsiatic Dayflower has spathes whose margins are free to the base; the very small middle petal is white (the other 2 are rich blue), and the spathes are pale green with dark veins.
