DistributionScattered locations across the state. The specimen from Durham County is actually from Granville County (Butner). We have not mapped a few records from yards, where doubtfully escaped.
Abundance
HabitatLocal escape to roadsides, woodlands, along creeks, former homesites, near former nurseries.
Phenology
IdentificationAs its parentage (below) suggests, the flowers are intermediate in size, a pale yellow corolla with an orange corona.
Taxonomic CommentsThis is the horticultural hybrid between N. pseudonarcissus and N. poeticus.
