DistributionCollected several times from a limited area on the east side of the Northeast Cape Fear River in New Hanover County, 1970-2003. Originally in ballast area, then locally spread to empty lots and thickets.

Native of Europe; in N.A. in FL, LA, and NC.
AbundanceVery rare.
HabitatBallast area, waste lot, riverside thicket.
Phenology
IdentificationIn this species, aerial stems persist for more than one year and are regularly branched.
