DistributionThere is a single record for NC: St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, Scotland County, weed in campus lawns. Discovered by Tracy Feldman in 2012 and photographs were taken.

Native of B.C. and Alb. south to CA and CO; adventive in MA, MS, NC, TN.
AbundanceVery rare.
HabitatCampus lawns.
PhenologyFlowering and fruiting dates not reported for eastern populations.
IdentificationThis is a small annual plant usually no more than 6 inches tall (but can reach 1 foot). The stems are simple or branched, the leaves are alternate, linear, and rather erect. The inflorescence is terminal, the flowers white and the 5 petals 4-6 mm long.
